“To say I am picky is probably an understatement. I visited 7 shops after dinging the front of my 67 Mustang GTA. Not one made me feel good about leaving my car with them. I kept hearing about Southern Classics so I finally made the 1.5 hour trip. I am so glad I did. Although they work on all classics, Mustangs are their specialty! The owner, Olaf owns several nice ponies and he is personally involved with every repair to ensure a high quality job. I had a lot of anxiety about paint match to the point that I asked several times if I should consider painting the entire car. Olaf kept reassuring me that I would be happy. He even invited me down to inspect the paint prior to reassembly to ensure I was satisfied. The paint color match is absolutely perfect. I spent many years in the car business so I know this is hard to do on any car let alone a 17 year old restoration. They are very busy so getting the car across the finish line did take a little longer than I expected but I guess perfection takes time. “I took my 1970 Nova to Southern Classic for body work and front end work. After considering a few shops I decided on Southern Classic and I am glad I did. Olaf (who I could talk to for hours about cars) and his team went over my car meticulously from front to back letting me know of issues they found. They went above and beyond to get my car right and recommended some suspension work that I will be taking my car back soon to have done. They custom fitted a new front fender, fixed some chips on the hood as well as matched and blended the color so well you can't tell. They were very honest and upfront with me about the repairs needed and my car was ready when estimated. The cost of the work was very reasonable and to be honest less than expected.”
